The car has been subject to a light restoration over the last couple of years after being bought by myself and my Dad in 2018 and it's been in dry storage the whole time.
Mechanically, the car has received a Full Service including Cambelt and Water Pump, Carburettor Rebuild, Fully Rebuilt Rear Brakes, Brake Fluid Change and any other issues addressed. We have also just fitted a full set of Uniroyal RainExpert Tyres along with a new Yoasa Battery.
According to the previous owner, the car was used as a holiday car in the South of France for several years which is, no doubt, why the car has never required any welding. Possibly due to the sunny environment the car previously resided in, when we purchased the 205 its exterior was suffering from lacquer peel and fading. Therefore, we made the decision to have the car fully resprayed in the original Topaz Blue, accompanied by new Front and Rear Bumpers.
Along with the bodywork and mechanical work, we have applied Lanoguard to the underside of the car and inside all chassis rails to ensure this lovely classic spends many more yeas on the road.
The car presents extremely well throughout, with the interior defying its age with no damage to the seats, complimenting the refreshed exterior.
The car is supplied with the original Handbook and two copies of the Showroom Brochures.
