Volkswagen T2 1972 early bay window camper van , I bought this van with a current mot as I asked the owner to MOT it , I was present and it passed , I drove it back from south Bristol no problems at all , and we used it for weekends away before i decided to fit a better kitchen, it’s a solid van no welding needed it’s had a lot of money spent on it over the years , new 1600 engine , only done 3, 000 miles on it , new disc break and servo conversion, power steering, new seals and roof window seals , new lining carpet, reupholstered interior side panels , new flooring supplied, kitchen units replaced, R&R bed with cushions, there is a new split charge system and lights ect to go with the van , there are new JK front matching door cards also to good with the van , awning, it has Porsche front seats , empi quick shift fitted . alloy 3 spoke steering wheel and boss The canvas roof is good and lifts up ok , it’s had new 3 screw headlights not cheap ones either , all tyres are good , there is a 3 way fridge , and a sink unit to be fitted if required, there is a folder full of receipts for work done on this van, it’s tax and MOT exempt, new battery two sets of keys and you can drive it away , there are bits of body work showing it’s age and can be done as you go along , nothing major but old repairs showing their age , may even get done if I get time , this is a honest van with lots of sensible extras fitted and will make a great weekend get away van , I have for it a new set of Porsche Fuchs reps boxed that are negotiable to the buyer first , there is probably lots I’ve missed but feel free to ask any questions if needed.
Reason for selling this van is we have bought a split screen camper van , I would have liked to have kept this van as it’s such a good honest example , price is negotiable but need to be sensible.
