Here is my beloved Range Rover Classic. Due to some changing circumstances, I unfortunately have to let her go. This is a very sound and solid Range Rover from 1981 which is now both Tax, MOT, and ULEZ / LEZ exempt. It's fitted with the legendary V8 3. 5L petrol engine and 4 speed manual gearbox. She is factor fitted with overdrive and therefore a lovely cruiser for longer journeys (for me, she sits between 60-65mph quite comfortably).

It had recently come from a long term owner who had the car dry stored in his own business unit which I think explains the lovely original condition. The paintwork is in excellent order and looks wonderful in the very sought after 'Artic White' finish (there are a few age related marks, happy to point those out). The interior is totally charming and in excellent original order, the 'Teddy Bear' upholstery has survived extremely well. The undercarriage is in particularly sound order and the truck has survived the usual serious corrosion many Range Rovers suffered. It appears to only have had some basic repairs to the offside sill panel (a previous MOT advisory).

The truck drives smooth and is powerful through all the gears and stops and steers very well too. There is no reason it couldn't be a daily driver (I took it out and used it multiple times a week), she really is that good to drive. The gearbox has been rebuilt in fairly recent times and she changes up and down very well. The headliner was recently fitted before me with a better fibre glass lined version that prevents the usual sagging they suffer from. The lower door trims (inside) have also been replaced and therefore the doors look very smart.

I'm sad to see it go, but I've tried to place it at a sensible price and I have no doubt it will continue to rise in value as they are getting scarcer these days and well loved around the world. This is a great highly usable example that will delight the new owner, and is a great platform for a full resto, should you desire to. It has a few age related marks here and there, but all minor things I'm happy to point out to a new owner.
