Fit about 10 years ago with complete 80 Series Turbo Diesel HDT 12 valve drive train including the All Wheel Drive Transfer case with Electronic Differential Lock control and the 5 speed manual gearbox. All were removed from a low km 80 series. Before install, the gearboxes were checked and serviced and engine received a top end rebuild.
The suspension was fit new from Old Man Emu which lifts the vehicle over the stock ride height by about 3 inches/ 60mm
The interior was re-upholstered
Car has just had $7, 000 USD in service 2024-2025 including new steering components, fluids, replaced diff lock controller, replaced wiring and relays, fuel system, engine tuning, and more.
Starts easily even when cold outside, not a smokey or rattling diesel.
Runs smooth, shifts up and down smooth, brakes well.
Has a lot of power, probably double what it had previously with the 2F Petrol motor and 4 speed.
Car entirely brought to bare metal, fully prepped, and then repainted about 7 years ago in original color. Unique and attractive, people give thumbs up everywhere we go in it.
Car has only been used in the summer months not during winters
High Capacity for both loads and towing makes this truck exceptionally useful on or off road.
