1972 Citroen DS23 Pallas For Sale
Regrettably, I'm offering my 1972 Citroen DS23 Pallas for sale due to work and family commitments that prevent me from giving it the attention it deserves.
Car Details:
South African manufactured and directly imported a few years ago
Fully imported with British registration and V5c
Starts and drives, but the starter motor can be temperamental (a high-torque replacement is included)
I Installed a bypass electric fuel pump for easier starting
Some electrical work is needed (e. g., improving earth connections for lights)
New electronic distributor and headlining included
Body Condition:
Good condition for its age
Minor paint bubbling on the roof sides and a few other marks
Passenger side embellisher has come off but is easy to refit
Interior:
In good condition overall
Structural Condition:
Very good, especially the boot floor (a common rust area)
Main Tasks to Get Roadworthy:
Replace the starter motor (new one provided)
Replace the water pump (new one provided)
Address some electrical issuesI purchased this classic car with the desire of restoring it to its original glory. My dream was to relive idyllic summer holidays, cruising the picturesque roads of Europe, just as I did many years ago in my cherished Citroen ID19.
