Description
This is a rare early Citroen Dyane 6. It appears to be on its original chassis and the bodywork has
not been resprayed. It is left hand drive and was previously Paris registered.
It is a left hand drive vehicle and has a front bench seat.
Like all A series Citroens, this is fun to drive. Being an early car the suspension is softer and it has less power than the later, M28 cars. There are few of these cars which have not been rebuilt and resprayed, and it is a usable car as it is, with its age related "patina". It is not a shiny restored car,
The car is on the road and anyone interested is welcome to contact me so that I can take them out in it.
I can also put it over a pit so that it can be examined underneath. This car was registered by me in 2017 after having been stripped down and put back together.
It is substantially in original form, having not been repainted, but the driver's side (LEFT hand side) front wing
has a replacement second hand wing which is not as good as the rest of the car. This was replaced as the original
had been damaged prior to my acquiring the car.
Other than that, the body is original, and has not been resprayed. As can be seen it has plenty of "patina".
I have kept it from deteriorating by polishing with Collinite wax.
Prior to putting on the road the engine was rebuilt by Ken Hannah, which included parts from more than one M4 engine
and a replacement crank.
In the last few years it has only been driven very occasionally, and so it is time to move it on to
someone who will use it more.
It has done less than 1, 000 miles since its last mot in 2019. It is MOT exempt as a historic vehicle, and road tax is zero.
