I'm advertising for sale my very rare black Skoda Rapid. Very few came in black as each dealership got 1 black car after selling so many Rapid's in other colours. It is far from standard and runs the 1600cc 8v engine from a Vauxhall Nova GSI so goes extremely well and is super reliable but does have a low mileage original engine to go with the car should someone want to put it back to standard. It is lowered a little on good quality adjustable GAZ shocks all round so really does corner and go well with the upgrades. The bodywork is solid but does have plenty of natural patina on the paint and some bubbling to the rear arches but I do have a set of arches to go with the car. Having owned many many retro cars of all descriptions I can honestly say this is one of the most fun cars I've owned and is one of those that just puts a smile on your face. It gets SO much attention at retro car shows and out and about. It has recently had the front 4 pot calipers rebuilt, new brake master cylinder, new clutch master cylinder and also new clutch slave cylinder. Overall it's a great, fun little car that is ready to enjoy. It also comes with around £1500+ worth of spare parts with the car, I have all sorts to help keep it on the road. Bad points :-
Paint has natural patina, if you want mint paint it will need a respray but makes it far more enjoyable to own and more usable as is.
Rear arches have bubbling but aren't rotten and could be repaired but I do have some to go with the car if they ever get bad enough to be worth cutting out.
This really is a great little car that'll only keep going up in value as people have realised just how good they are now.
