For sale is my 2006 Toyota MR2, I bought this example a year ago after wanting an MR2 for some time. I am the 4th owner, the previous owner, if I remember rightly had it for 11 years.
It currently has just 38, 921 miles from new, MOT until end of Feb 2026 and 15 stamps in the service book as well as receipts for servicing, mostly from Toyota/ Toyota specialists. Very importantly.. it doesn't burn any oil, I haven’t had to top the oil up at all.
In the time I have owned this car I have bought two brand new genuine Toyota headlight units, had the alloys refurbished and had a new mohair roof along with drain bags fitted by Southwest Roadsters in Devon. The car is original and unmodified apart from the stereo unit and the alloys sprayed in gunmetal vs the original silver.
The reason for sale is before Christmas I bought a Lotus Elise ( a car that the MR2 is often compared to) and the original plan was to keep them both as weekend toys but I constantly find myself grabbing the keys to the Elise, and the fact that I also have a van and the missus has a car means the MR2 is spending more and more time just sat there.
Bad points are some stone chips, a small scratch on the passenger door and the paint at the top of the rear bumper is a bit flat.
Any inspection and test drives (down some lovely local B roads) more than welcome. In no hurry to sell as I have plenty of space for it.
