Description
After a long hard think, I've decided to sell one of the sunbeams as I can't work on them all. The bike is a 1928 Model 5 long-stroke and has to be one of the most original bikes left, a true survivor. I purchased it from an ex club owner last year (the bike won the Fletcher Brothers Memorial Run trophy in 2021) with the intention of getting the bike up and running and using it as is (I'm also a club member). The bike now runs well, sparks well and with a strong oil pump (a video of the bike running can be sent). As far as know, the bike has not been restored to any great degree and is a true oily rag condition. I have a great briefcase full of the bikes history, which even includes the petrol ration books from the war. If you need any details, please let me know and PM me for further information. It's a lovely thing but one has to go.
