Here, reluctantly offered for sale, is my fabulous and Ultra rare in this condition with one of the lowest genuine and original mileage examples you’ll find, Volvo 480 ES.
I have been around these cars most of my life as back when these cars launched in 1987, I was a Volvo apprentice.
This car has been owned by just one previous husband and wife from new until I bought her in 2019.
For those who know these cars you’ll know they are a labour of love and I can say that all of the known gremlins have been replaced or repaired during my ownership.
The bodywork as you can see is almost faultless bar some light surfaces marks and a little lacquer peel in one place.
Inside is remarkable with all the original features plus a couple of delicate upgrades such as Volvo digital clock and stopwatch and Volvo leather steering wheel.
The original plastic floor trays and carpet mats protect the original carpets which are superb condition.
She drives faultless too with the sporty 1. 7 fuel injection engine paired with the automatic transmission.
There is a full service book pack with all keys and handbooks.
I have serviced her with genuine parts every year and replaced the timing belt kit and water pump.
Also included with the sale for the asking price, Is literally a shed full of spare parts ranging from wheels and tyres, rear lights, front day running and indicator lamps, fog lamps, driving lamps, pop up motors, relays, switches, accessories, radio cassette players, plus much more.

I’m really only selling her as I have lost my storage unit and leaving her outside is not an option.

The press launch was on October 15, 1985, but the 480 was first put on public show in March at the 1986 Geneva Motor Show, becoming available to mainland European buyers in May 1986 and the UK and Ireland in June 1987.
