Genuine Mk1 Ford Escort RS2000 finished in Diamond White with blue decals. This is a very presentable and useable example built to a fast road spec although isn't a concourse example. The car was originally Olympic Blue (some evidence of this still showing on the boot hinges) and was painted back in 2016 to a very high standard and I have since had the stripes added to complete the look. As it was done almost 10 years ago the paint does show some imperfections upon close inspection.
The pinto engine (rebuilt in 2016) is running twin Weber 45's, has a big valve head and is paired to a 4 speed straight cut box. A ralloy alloy fuel tank is located in the boot along with a facet fuel pump. The car also benefits from a bias pedal box, Ashley exhaust system and manifold, GP4 steering joint and World Cup crossmember.
The interior has a new reproduction dash top and reproduction contour seats both front and rear which really look the part.
With all the above elements it's a well set up fast road spec RS2000. It's great fun to drive and a very useable example.
