I bought the car in 2023 from a used cars dealer in Germany. The car was deregistered at the Rathenov (landkreis Havelland) vehicle registration office in 2002. I have a only one document... registration certificate (Fahrzeugbrief / Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil II) I have no information about what happened to this car before I bought it. According to the registration document, it had three owners in Germany. In my opinion car is in nice condition but Due to long-term storage, it requires servicing. After purchasing the car, I changed the engine oil and filter and replaced the clutch.
Ultimately, I did not register the car and it became part of my garage collection.
Of course, the engine is started regularly and I take it for a short drive around my neighborhood.
The car is 100% original. Have a oryginal Recaro seats, RS driving wheel, RS rims and etc.
The car's right rear fender had previously undergone bodywork repairs and was repainted. Unfortunately, over the years, corrosion has developed in the same area, requiring further repair. Several pieces of the trunk fittings are also missing (the right wheel arch cover, the trunk shelf, and the trunk floor). I bought the car with the intention that one of my sons would drive it... unfortunately, they choose two BMW E39s from my garage... I even understand them. ;-)
I think the RS2000 is a great budget Hot hatch car that still brings a smile to people's faces.
My car needs very little work so that the new owner can enjoy driving it.
