Fabulous original carburettor car with guaranteed 55000 mls from new. A rare opportunity to buy the very best factory built un- molested original car on offer anywhere. Has won best survivor awards at shows. Bought in the US from the previous fastidious long time owner. Rosso Cherry 136 colour code with Parchment interior and black carpeting . Completely original example with no changed panels or welding of any kind. The fit and finish is gorgeous. All the underbody and sill pinch seams are perfect. I have a hundred pictures from every angle including under body, floors, suspension and drive train to see clearly how outstanding this car is. Lovely paintwork and only one repaint in the factory Rosso colour. The engine bay is immaculate, inner wings and boot floor as new. Original factory underseal still present. The seating and carpets are lovely. The dashboard has no cracks or warping and woodwork is perfect. Everything works, even the clock! No cracks in the steering wheel and lovely replacement water-tight fitting hood and hood cover. The twin cam engine runs incredibly smoothly , strong, quiet and sweet with no noises, no leaks of any kind and complimented with a perfect 5 speed gearbox. Factory boot set with rare original timber covers and mat. Two sets of wheels , the original iron cross alloys plus the Panasport shadowchrome 15s currently on the car. New tyres and new factory exhaust, although there is a brand new ANSA system in wrappers to fit if desired. Exquisite unmarked chrome throughout with no marks or pitting. I have owned 124s for over thirty years and have had five spiders , to find unmolested cars is extremely difficult and hugely superior to a restored car.
This is an extremely impressive car that I am only selling as I am over 70 now and find it increasingly hard to look after my five classic cars so reluctantly Im letting some go. There is at least £1500 worth of new boxed spares that i have. It needs nothing and can be immediately enjoyed to the full. Great tight , fun driver.
