Description
Morris Oxford Estate “Woody” very original, Older restoration, very solid, good structurally and mechanically. A very practical useable classic with a massive load area and good spares availability, Has the 1500 B series engine on single carb which runs perfect with good oil pressure and looks like it was rebuilt at some time. 4 speed column change, Brand new battery. All chrome trim is original and present. The wood is rock solid but the varnish coating is flaking, Doors fit and shut correctly, sills and door pillars all good, Been unused for the last few years so needs some light recommissioning. Included is a Cover Systems purpose made outdoor car cover.. Tyres have loads of tread but sidewalls slightly perished, Good seats and most of Interior except some small side trim is coming off. Exhaust is rusty and blows. Brakes poor but were very good when last driven so can't be too serious, These are so much more solidly built than the Minors, There is a friendly active owners club for this model and I think this car is known to them.
Very rare Estate model priced for a quick sale due to downsizing. I know a local vehicle transporter who could help with delivery if required. I have owned this for 5 years and not used it for the last 2 years - I am only selling as downsizing for a house move - hence priced low for a quick sale. Very Rare model - there are not many surviving estates and are usually either fully restored and very expensive or falling to pieces. Its actually quite a practical classic as it has so much room inside and good spares availability.
