Description
Selling my immaculate MGB as not using it enough as imagined I would. First registered in 1971 I have original VIN plate. Heritage shell in circa 2007, new Oselli 1959 stage 2 engine 2018, new hood 2024, fully and meticulously serviced - last service by local MG specialist Nov 2024 at £3604 (inc new hood cost).
Comprehensive history with MOT certs back to 1981 and heritage cert etc. Have Oselli invoice for fitting new engine but I do not have receipt for new heritage shell.
MOT till 21. 10. 2025
Bit of detail - she has done about 3000 miles since May 2009 with Oselli engine only having done 818 miles. The Oselli engine a 1950cc stage lightened and balanced lead free engine fitted by Oselli with all the usual extras and photos of the work in Feb 2018 for £5647.
Kenlowe electric fan
She presents very very well in Tartan Red, almost as good underneath as on top. No rust spots anywhere that I can see.
Excellent chrome wire wheels, Tyres hardly used (inc spare unused) and although I was told brand new when I purchased from dealer they are actually 'as new' date stamped May 2017. The car carries smart chrome work, and an amazing engine bay.
The bulkhead and inner wings are all absolutely sound and cavities recently fully waxed.
SS sports exhaust
Boot area is carpeted and interior has club sport leather seats and wooden dash with sports Moto Lita steering wheel and arm rest. Usual tonneau covers supplied with car plus original air filters if preferred.
Overdrive (switch needs replacing I think as it sometimes does not engage and I have replacement ready).
Steering is light and precise and she has adjustable SPAX shockers fitted to rear and drilled front brake discs.
Always kept in garage on battery trickle feed - starts very well and eager to go. Perfect car to enjoy round here in the South West. In no rush to sell but I have recently passed motorbike test so spend most of time on my bike now so the car is not being used.
