This is original Hartge Hunter previously owned by Mr Herbert Hartge - company's founder - as documented by the old German papers (Fahrzeugbrief). Original license plate number MHG HH440.
It is unknown how many of these X3 Hunters were build, however the press vehicle had license plate number MHG HH330. As the name suggest, this was a "forest" conversion ideal for hunters. The car is lifted by 3cm, has bigger wheels and tires and has some protective skids under the engine and transmission. In addition, the car has some visual Hartge upgrades and engine tune. This conversion was available for 3. 0d as well as 3. 0Sd models. This is 3. 0d model with upgraded power to estimated 250hp. With manual 6 speed it is really rapid for X3.
The larger 19 inch wheels (255/ 55 R19 front and back) are registered in the papers as the vehicle comes with CoC Certificate confirming the tires/ wheel modifications as the biggest factory size for E83 was R18.
Currently, the vehicle is registered in Slovakia with copies of the German papers and original of the old German papers still present. Unfortunately, no service book. We bought the vehicle in 2023 from a car dealership that sits in former Hartge buildings near Saarbrucken, Germany. Informally, they also confirmed origins of this vehicle.
Extensive work was done on the vehicle in all aspects. Engine, brakes, drivetrain, xDrive, electrics, panorama roof, el. windows, detailing, etc. The car is fully serviced and needs no further work or attention.
