Description
1974 Triumph GT6 · Coupe
This is the final GT6 that ever rolled off the production line in 1973, registered in April 1974 when it was sold by Hollingdrakes in Stockport - VIN KE24218
It’s a stunning mark 3 GT6 in the best 70’s colour, magenta with black interior.
This particular car has featured in numerous magazines during its life. It benefitted from a nut-and-bolt restoration in the early noughties & a full engine rebuild at that time. At that time there was an upgrade of the carburettors to SU from Strombergs to release more power from the engine.
In 2005 the GT6 was treated to a respray in magenta (around 15 years ago), an accompanying British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate confirms is to the car’s original specification.
The car comes with around 150 old invoices and bills including the original handbook. I have owned it myself for 5 years and have had work done to make it MOT worthy (MOT expires end Oct 2025).
The restoration has stood the test of time extremely well. It’s is a very good solid useable classic which always turns heads. Nothing says 1970s quite like a magenta car!
It looks stunning & is a very good useable car that you can jump straight into & enjoy.
