This is a Mini City E Automatic affectionately known as "KEITH". He was first registered 11th April 1990 and is now 35 years old. The car has had only 5 owners and travelled only 67, 700 miles (confirmed by the old MOT's) in its life. That's less than 2000 miles per year. The last owner based in Hampshire purchased the car in 2013 and spent the next 3 years restoring the car. There is a large history file full of old invoices etc showing that he spent £10, 000 on parts alone. Probably over £15, 000 in total. Everything was done to a high standard and every aspect of the car was attended to. The bodywork was fully stripped and any bad panels replaced before a full repaint in the original Henley Blue with a white roof. There are photographs of the car being restored. The underside of the car is as good as the outside. All the cavity's were wax injected for protection. All new subframes, brakes, brake and fuel lines, exhaust (heat wrapped) & suspension. New chrome bumpers, headlight rims, grille and arch/ sill trim. The car sits on re-furbished wheels with a new set of original wheel trims and shod with a new matching set of quality 145/ 70r 12 tyres. The boot area is immaculate and fully lined. The spare wheel, battery and tools reside under the false floor. The inside of the car is also in fantastic condition. All the seats, carpets, door cards, roof lining and door cards in very good clean condition. There is an immobiliser fitted and a Teac AM/ FM stereo with phone connection port. Hazard flashers, heated rear window, 4 seat belts and heater all fitted and working. A very clean engine bay houses the rebuilt A+ engine with 4 speed automatic gearbox. The engine is exceptionally quite and smooth and the car goes down the road very well. It has just had a service with new filters, plugs, oil etc and carries an MOT till 14th March 2026. An excellent and rare auto box mini.
