The time has come to sell my beautiful 911 that I've owned for 6yrs. I need the funds for my 912-based restomod project.
She is in fantastic condition inside, outside and underneath:
> the paintwork is amazing and has no swirls having benefited from a £1000 detailing - the invoice in the history specifies everything that was done. Immediately after taking ownership of the car I went along to the detailing firm to understand more of what was done and more importantly how not to undo the good work. So she has had very careful washing since then in order to not put any swirls back on the paint
> the interior has just a light patina. The leather throughout is in great condition
> underneath is immaculate. There's an invoice for a full Waxoyl underneath and box sections and even though that was back in 2011 she has done less than 10, 000 miles since. I spent a couple of winters completely refreshing the underside of the car restoring the small areas of surface rust or imperfect underseal and re-waxoyling the whole underside. Mechanics always comment on the stunning condition of the underside
> the hood is in great condition. It was replaced in 2012
> she's done less than 14000 miles in the last 15yrs but importantly has been used continually throughout that period so not sat unused for years on end. She clearly has been very well looked after and only lightly used for fun trips out; which has certainly been the case while I've owned herThere is a full service history comprising OPC and specialist Indys - now onto a 2nd book. There is also an extensive file of invoices and a Porsche COA.
Some of the highlights of the history besides routine servicing and consumables being:
> Complete refresh of the rear suspension in 2021. New torsion bar bushes & cover plates, new Bilstein shocks, new anti-roll bar bushes and fixings
> Vodafone Tracking System fitted - I've never activated this because the car barely leaves my sight or stays away from home but the system is there ready to be activated and there's information in the history file about this
> Porsche Classic sat nav head unit (911. 645. 290. 00) - there's an invoice for £900 for this. I never use it though because I just listen to the engine singing away!
> New alternator in 2016
> New hood in 2012
> New clutch less than 10, 000 miles ago
> Stainless steel sports exhaust fitted
She's just been serviced, MOT'd, had new Michelin PS4 tyres all round and 4-wheel laser wheel alignment done so she's all ready to enjoy for the summer.
