Probably going to regret this but I have a second car for the summer and this beauty just isn’t going to get used for a while now.
For sale is my daily, bulletproof bmw e39 530d manual.
It runs absolutely fantastic and the m57 is super smooth with plenty of power. It’s one of the quietest m57s I’ve heard which is a testament to the previous owner who looked after it very well and serviced it every 6k miles. He owned it around 13 years and put many of the miles on, and I’ve owned probably the best part of a year now and serviced it around 4k miles ago.
The car has stacks of history with it.
The bodywork on the car is actually really good, very little rust (a couple of little bubbles here and there). The sills are solid and the rear arches are solid with no bubbles which is nice.
It really is quite a clean example, msport spec from factory with heated black leather seats, cruise control, cd changer etc.. and of course MANUAL, which are getting very rare these days.
The car has brand new m parallel style wheels and brand new tyres, brand new adjustable suspension (height and dampening), and I still have the oem sport suspension that will come with the car if the coilovers aren’t to the new owners taste.
It’s had a recent new thermostat and really is a pleasure to drive, sits on the motorway with cruise control on and will do near on 60mpg on a long run, and averages around 40.
It’s a great car and I will miss it a lot, but it’s pointless just sitting there when someone else could be using it.
