Honda CB 750K, 1975 K5
Imported from USA, I’m the first UK owner, to the best of my knowledge there was only one US owner.
I have a few classic bikes, I purchased this about 18 months ago, from DK, bought it back to roadworthy condition. I’ve ridden it approximately 1500 miles.
I’ve have a lot of experience rebuilding classics, in my view this bike has never been restored,
Starts runs and rides with no issuesThis bike is in exceptional original condition, the exhausts are original OEM 341, and in excellent condition.
I’ve addressed a few issues, due to age and storage I had to replace the side covers and seat with reproduction items, the best out there, from companies I’ve used before, and the seat is correctly stencilled with the Honda Logo.
I also carried out the following work.
Professional repaint in Antares Red.
Forks and headstock stripped, new fork seals, oil, and headstock bearings greased.
New wheel bearings and seals all round.
Front brake stripped, new pads fluids and seals including front master.
Rear brake stripped cleaned checked for cracking, fine, shoes were as new!
New engine oil and filter, new air filter, new plugs and battery.
Replacement coils.
Carburettors completely stripped and sonic cleaned.
New chain and sprockets.
New tyres.
The carbs have also been fully stripped and sonic cleaned,
These bikes are one of the easiest and cost effective classics to own and ride, there’s tons of spares and specialists around to keep them going.
This bike, in such lovely original condition always attracts a lot of attention whenever you stop!
