2024 – Drain & replace brake, gearbox, differential fluids plus engine oil/ filter replacementThis car has always been garaged with dust sheet and rarely taken out in bad weather (rain & wet roads always avoided) and never taken out on salty roads during my 20 years of ownership. As the TVR factory made noticeable improvements over some of the early model gremlins, these later models are very reliable when they are cared for. Some servicing has been performed by TVR specialists over the years but as a retired engineer, I've enjoyed the regular self servicing myself. With these cars, everything is very straight forward to work on. A full under body/ chassis inspection using local professional garage ramp equipment will be made available. See additional chassis photos added 10/ 05/ 2025).
She's not been “tampered with” (no unnecessary mods) as some can be these days and I've endeavoured to maintain her to an original factory specification which I believe helps future value's of these British sports cars. I have never run her on any "track day/ competition" events, as some can be, I have simply used her for recreational motoring.
She's a great drive, always bursts into life first turn of the key & that V8 rumble is so distinctive & turns heads wherever you are, the boot space on these is massive which is great for touring. This is a very regrettable sale but in my 70's I feel my sports car days are sadly at an end. Now is the time for her to go to a new home where she can "get out more" and continue to be enjoyed by another British sports car enthusiast.
