Description
This is a LANCIA FLAMINIA Coupe Pininfarina 3B. six-cylinder V-cylinder engine displacement 2500 cc (2458). triple-body carburettor. Metallic grey bodywork and beige cloth interior. Built in 1963 and re-registered in 2003 during restoration. During the restoration it was repainted in its original colour and the interior was redone in the original Lancia cloth. After buying it in 2010, I carried out all the mechanical work necessary to make it fully functional and safe. Mechanical work included: - Braking system (brake pumps, caliper control pistons, power steering, front and rear brake pads, etc.) - Head refurbishment (valve change, guides, gaskets, etc.) - Suspension (replacement of all tie rods and steering heads.) - Transmission (disassembly of shaft and replacement of flexible couplings, replacement of driveshaft) - Water pump and piping - Overhaul of carburettors - Petrol tank (cleaning and restoring float) - Tyres (replacement) The car runs perfectly with frequent use for rallies and Sunday excursions. It responds well to the controls showing the power expected from a six-cylinder and maintains excellent oil pressure and water temperature values even in the column. Registered with ASI register no. 10543 An article about a Flaminia of the same model and colour as the one proposed here appears in the January 2015 issue of Wheels Classics no. 313. The price quoted should be considered a reference. The definitive price can be agreed on the basis of the parameters published by Ruote Classiche. The mileage indicated corresponds to the instrument reading; however, I think it would be normal to assume that it has already been driven around. The reason for the sale due to space problems; I have been evicted from the garage I am using and I have to forcibly reduce my car fleet. Purchased in 2010, but I don't have the history of previous owners
