Rare opportunity to acquire an unrestored early Giulietta Sprint with handmade bodywork. Restore it to original specification, or to one’s own choice. Still has the remains of original, (very rare colour) pale grey. Original column shift ( optional floor shift). Original wiring, brake/ fuel pipes still in situ. Totally solid floorpan, with superficial powdery rust where metal exposed. As can be seen in photo, the inside of fuel tank is like new! Only bonnet and door bottoms have some rust repair necessary ( which I am currently rectifying, to a high standard and happy to send photos of the repairs) . I was going to get the shell dipped, but discovered that the first dipping/ stripping process uses caustic soda and would destroy the aluminium spacer blocks inside the front ‘chassis’ legs, so hand stripping . Will update photos after doors are done.
Missing: Radiator, grill, number plate lamp, headlamp rims. Can restore to concours. Just added a photo of a very rare collar which supports the heater pipes. It’s the first Giulietta Alfa I have come across with this item still in situ! I have started working on the car, so watch this space, it will start to look beautiful soon! Engine bay stripping process. On removing wiring see the original Carello unit. This car cost me alot more than asking price.
