This is an ex American Police Interceptor.
The Ford Explorer PIU ( Police Interceptor Utility ) is currently in use with lots of law enforcement agencies throughout the USA , and is a powerful all wheel drive vehicle.
Now retired, and I have no doubt a lot of stories to tell! , I currently use her for meets, events and general day to day driving.
Great to drive , sure footed, and lots of power if needed.
Currently liveried as a California Highway Patrol Car it brings a smile to my face every time I’m out and about.
Mechanically sound, it just went through it’s mot recently with no advisories , so all good at the moment.
Please remember this was a working car, and the paintwork is not perfect , but to me that adds to the character, and the car still looks good .
Mileage is approx 166000 , will rise slightly as used daily

I’ve always been a big fan of all things American cops , so when I had the chance to buy this I thought why not not?.
Great talking point at car meets, and open days etc great fun.
This has been my forth American cop car , and won’t be my last .
