Ford Capri 2. 8i special.
Registered on the 5th August 1987.
I have owned this car for 3 years and I'm the 4th owner (previous 3 from in and around Glasgow which is where I bought it from) .. with service history and old mots to back up the mileage of 58k. Both original keys, service and handbook & radio all present.
As I understand it left the garage in Stirling in 1987 in black and it was approximately 25 years ago that had a colour change to Ford glacier blue. The underside was also coated in white hammerite type paint (which may or may not be to the next owners taste.. personally it's not bothered me as it's easier to keep clean!
Please don't be under any illusion that the car does need tidying up around the sunroof and various other areas around the car, which is why I've decided to sell it at a reasonable price rather than having respray that hides it's scars!
In my ownership it's had tyres, discs/ pads, drums/ shoes, exhausts, fuel tank/ pump, ball joints, bushes, radiator, fan belts, battery etc etc.. you get the picture!
The private registration plate will be removed prior to sale at which the the original age related plate will go back on.
It has nearly 13 months MOT (no advisories) and will be perfect for anyone wishing to use and improve as and when, a good basis on which to start with.. I've covered approximately 5000 fault free miles during the past 3 years (mostly in the spring/ summer!)..
