1972 Vw Beetle. 1600 recon engine that has no end float. Been used daily up till winter this year when it was tucked away in a garage. Dry stored since Iv had it. Iv owned it around 4 years. I drive around a 7 mile round trip to work daily and never had problems. Full drum brake overhaul Serviced. New spark plugs leads new interior new seat belts. Floors and heater channels are really good. Bits I havnt got round to doing- passenger door bottom hinge is broken so the door doesn’t open all the way. I have the replacement hinge just havnt done it. Usually after winter when I get it out, the clutch is stiff, with some grease and a bit of work it’s fine but I did buy a replacement clutch cable just havnt done it yet. Usual spots of bubbling under the paint and usually spots of rust but overall body work is pretty good. The paint has naturally faded hence why the unique patinaThe patina is fantastic on this.
