Been in same family since new, Original owner when taken ill took the car off the road and stored in their garage; the current second owner put the E30 back on the road and conducted a sympathetic and delicate restoration to preserve originality.
Local BMW Dealer service history up to 1999 then local garage cared for car. Comes with original owners folder including service record, owners book. Also included workshop manual and several E30 specific publications detailing the model. Complete original toolkit. Always kept inside store or garage from new.
Work carried out. Repair to rear subframe mounting, replacement of rear inner and outer arches; all worked carried out by pro bodywork specialist. 4 genuine restored BBS BMW 15in wheels fitted with new Falken 205/ 55x15. Only 100 miles. Original steel wheels and covers also with car. Brand New old stock front and rear chrome bumpers. All coolant hoses, vacuum hoses and fuel pipes replaced. New radiator, water pump , cam belt and tensioner kit. Upgrade cylinder head bolt kit. Tappet clearance checked. New rear exhaust box. New rear shocks. New rear shoes, brake pipes including flexi hose. New front discs/ pads plus hoses. New front wishbones , tie rod eyes, ball joints. Full engine service, synthetic oil change, all filters replaced. New battery.
One of BMW’s defining models the E30 is the ultimate classic driving machine being highly aspirational but also great value when launched and today is a hugely practical classic car.
