Very nice original Iconic Yamaha XT500 1979.
Very low mileage of 5500 miles. Believed to be correct. Nice original condition. Not restored. Completely checked over and serviced. Brakes checked and cleaned, valve clearances checked, points/ timing and obviously oil and filter. Everything looks to back up the mileage with no significant wear anywhere, rare to find in unrestored and unmolested condition like this.
Only non original item are the indicators and new flat slide Mikuni carburettor.
Everything works perfectly and it starts easily hot or cold
and sounds like new.
New battery fitted.
Matching frame and engine numbers.
