BMW R75/ 6 1975 Excellent condition, not concourse but very nice. Paint (black with white pin-striping) is unblemished. The previous owner had a nut & bolt rebuild in 2014; receipts and history file available, too much to mention. The bike still looks lovely as it’s garaged and well maintained, having recently had a £500+ major service.
The bike has alloy rims with stainless spokes.
New switch gear was used in the rebuild and the bike benefits with a set of period Krauser panniers for those who like to tour.
As you might expect she runs beautifully with no issues. She has a lovely quality feel about her and the bike is ready to ride for trips out this summer. Having never before owned a BMW boxer twin, this R75 bike caught my attention as a bike to complete some touring miles.
There can’t be many R75’s in this condition with receipts of parts used in the rebuild.
Having owned this R75/ 6 for eleven trouble free years, it’s now time for a new owner to enjoy. I have not been using my classic car as much I’d wished and also have a car project to work on to now is right time to sell this lovely motorcycle.
