Really need to move this wonderful car on as I need the space. Last price reduction (restoration costs are way in excess of what I’m asking).
1976 Caledonian Imp. really low original mileage. previously owned by Imp club officer. the car has been subjected to a complete strip down and rebuild including a bare metal respray. I have receipts for all of the expenditure. the car has cost me a lot more than the asking price!
the only modifications I have made are 13inch alloy wheels and a Davies Craig electric water pump & rad fan, this alone was a £500. 0 upgrade.
The runs and drives very well with both engine and gearbox rebuilt by professionals. the wheels and tyres are new as is the exhaust etc etc etc . the V5 log book is in my name and the car has Historic status so zero road fund tax.
its just a lovely car!
Included in the sale is a totally spare sport engine including a pair of Twin Strombergs and manifold plus all original items that have been upgraded including water pump and front brakes. photos now updated to show the bare metal respray16000 original miles. previous owner committee member of the Imp owners club. Original service book and other period documents included as are all of the items removed/ replaced during the restoration including; Refurbished water pump, and associated controls, spare dashboard, fuel pump, carburettors etc etc.
