One piece of rust at the bottom, at the back of the nearside front wing, below the trim.
Mileage is closer to 90, 000 miles, where the MOT History proves the milometer has remained stationary. However, the lady owner, during this time, used the car very sparingly. I've owned five of these cars, including two leather interiors. They're a mile munching, reclining armchair, with plenty of status on the road for respect.
This 740 was owned by its previous lady owner for over twenty years, and was sold to me early last year due to illness. I've enjoyed every reliable wafting minute of this reliable piece of Swedish automotive history, but my eye has been turned toward another classic.
