MOTO GUZZI T3
1976 – Moto Guzzi T3 fitted with 1000cc Spada engine .
Brought as basket case (a stalled project), so came in boxes but with some nice goodies and of course some missing bits. Rebuilt from ground up a few years ago and never really used. Lots of stainless fitting etc. Registered as a Historic Vehicle.
Miles on clock reads 38200 but it’s done less than 1500 mile since rebuild.
Frame is powder coated (has been sat around bit, so not perfect)
New front disc’s
All brake calliper’s :- have new pistons, seals, pads, S/ S pins, bleed nipple and braided hoses, They have been powdered coated as well.
Rebuilt Spada 1000cc engine with auto timing chain tensioner, new valve seats/ valves/ seals etc V5 amend with new engine number/ cc
Gearbox and bevel box totally re-build with new bearings and seals throughout (still tad stiff changing gear) new UJ bearing as well.
Complete Stainless exhaust system, with alloy exhaust header clamps
90% of nuts bolts are stainless steel , if not the’re re-plated originals, S/ S rocker crash bars, new cables etc
Borrani rims, with stainless spokes with good Avon rubber, although rims are showing signs of the years ! and pain to clean.
Koni dial-a-rides on rear bit OTT, standard front end.

Bits not quite standard, ie the missing bits or beyond repair
Most of the wiring and switchgear was missing, so it’s a homemade wiring loom, removed parking light circuit and but followed the original colours . Aftermarket switch gear.
K&N style air filters (do have parts of the air box)
Headlight was shot, same with indicators so pattern ones fitted
Triumph bars, throttle grip, indicators and rear footrest
Paint job looks Ok from a distance (aka 750 S3 ) but has issues , tank clean inside, new petrol taps.
Seat , yes its big & comfy. Homemade metal base, asked the upholstery to re-fresh the old foam but she added extra layer on it and its not pulled in tight enough . However have do have standard seat but has plastic base.
Original clocks work ie old land rover style doing 60-80mph at 4000-4500 rpm. They wave at you
Also comes with T3 original panniers/ rack/ crash bars but will need a complete refurbishment
