Low miles Hillman Imp project. The entire car was running OK with only 22k miles from new when I bought it in 2021 but needing rust repairs before rebuild.
The car was stripped to a bare shell . The shell boot , bonnet and doors were soda blasted to bare metal few years ago ready for weld repair and has been dry stored since along with all the parts.
I have picked up two other classics since then and really don't have time or space to complete this one but can use the engine and box and some spares in another project.
The shell has quite a lot of rust areas making the project suitable for someone with good welding skills but it is practical to repair without the purchase of lots of expensive panels and could be brought back to a fine road classic.
I need to sell the bare shell to make space and the sale price indicated is just for the shell and rear X member. I imagine its most likely to appeal for use as a competition conversion where the weld work would be needed and the £1000 spend on soda blasting makes it a give away.
By negotiation I can provide additional parts to take it up to a rolling shell or sell the entire car with the known good original engine and box at a fair price.
