Description
This is a 1983 Austin Metro HLE in gold, with just 18, 000 miles on the clock and an automatic gearbox. It’s a genuine survivor — the previous owner kept it stored in a garage for around 30 years due to illness, and never wanted to part with it.
Since coming out of storage, it’s had a full mechanical and cosmetic overhaul, including a full respray in the original colour and powder-coated wheels. Nothing's been modified or messed with — it still drives like a brand-new Metro from the '80s.
Now registered as a historic vehicle with the DVLA, so it's MOT and tax exempt. Probably one of the best examples out there in terms of originality and condition.
