Owned by me for the last 27 years and in that time pretty much everything has been done, and in some cases, re-done!
Many thousands has been spent over the years with specialist garages ( most recently, Coleman Classics ) and £7, 900 just spent on a major service that covered the entire front suspension, petrol lines and exhaust system.
The body work is in very good condition, the last respray about 5 years ago. More importantly, this is a rust free example, and photographs showing every angle and the wheel arches are attached. The floor was inspected when the carpets were replaced 2 years ago and the underside has recently been checked, cleaned and stone chipped. Photographs of the underside are included.
What makes this car really stand out is its performance. Higher compression heads were fitted when leaded petrol became unavailable and in 2022 it was fitted with an Edelbrock carburettor, which transformed the performance. Just as important the breaks and steering are first rate and the front suspension has just been entirely rebuilt ( see above ). The driving experience is fantastic. She is also very reliable and always starts on the button!. Any inspection is welcome.
Although not necessary, the car is MOT'd and passed her last one with no advisories.
This is a very reluctant sale due to retirement and downsizing, so some of the cars have to go.
