Yamaha XT500 Classic 1980 Vintage Thumper.
Two owners from new, very low mileage and unrestored.
This is a genuine matching numbers bike, imported 10 years ago from sunny Southern California (where it had been in storage for over 30 years) and registered here with an age-related plate. It had completed only 1, 881 miles on import and stands at 2, 631 now.
In the UK the bike was recommissioned and fitted with Bridgestone Trailwing tyres, a new seat cover, and new fork oil and seals.
The machine is in very good condition for its age. It starts and runs well; the bike has the patina and genuine look that one would expect of a 45 year old unrestored motorbike.
