1979 Yamaha XT500g - Imported and registered ready to go.
Registered as Historic, so no MOT or Tax required
Imported from sunnier climes where no salt has attacked it.
In v. good condition for its year. Some items are not original, the exhaust for example, however, overall this is a solid bike with no known issues.
Since arriving on these shores I have stripped and cleaned the carbs, set up the timing and got it running after it had sat for some time.
Also cleaned the sump strainer, the frame strainer and put a new oil filter in, obviously fresh oil as well.
It is a fully usable bike. Starts and runs well.
