up for sale is my original 1966 Volkswagen split screen camper.
originally imported from California and belonging to a hippy this camper just screams charm age and she's a time warp ..... just look at the photos of the inside of this bus and you will be taken back into a time warp, running 1600 twin port engine single carb that's had a top end rebuild at some point and drives like a dream. Front and rear safaris for them long summer evenings, rock and roll bed , fridge that works, door mounted cooker. Door table and main table, trying to keep as much of the original as I could its only original once. how solid is the bus its solid where it matters front clip, gutters, chassis rails etc. etc. She runs drives and stops
new breaks new front bearings, she's slightly lowered but nothing crazy and drives nice.... there's plenty more i could go on about but i think the photos say more than words
reason for sale I have another split screen(crew cab) and a beetle and this camper needs to be used . there's a folder of history that comes with this bus
