I am reluctantly deciding to sell my 1986, Vauxhall Astra Antibes 1. 3 Special Edition
The Antibes special Additional models in the Vauxhall range were one of the best of the special Edition models in my opinion, eye-catching colours and trim and now extremely rare.
Like this 1986 Astra, This is one of three I believe left on the road and this is truly a time warp Condition, car inside and out
Basically a one owner car an old chap owned it from new and the chap I purchased it from a few years ago acquired it from him but never used it
The car has been fully serviced with new cam belt, water pump, coolant flush, and coolant, oil and oil filter changed, air filter, spark plugs, plug Leads, distributor cap, rota arm, coli unit.
Rear silencer box has also been replaced
The car has benefited from a brand-new weber twin choke Manual carburettor and I can confirm the car drives beautifully and The engine is silky, smooth, and Pulls more like a 1. 6 or 2. 0 car you will be pleasantly surprised
It really is a very nippy car and benefits from a five speed gearbox as well as standard on this model exterior and interior are in fantastic condition with The odd minor touchup that you would accept and gets lots of admiring looks and attention wherever it goes
The underneath of the car at the rear has been benefited from being painted and restored taken back to the bare metal
The car is all MOT’d And ready to go. It starts on the button and it’s very reliable. I would trust this car to take me anywhere.
You’ll be hard pressed to find one as good as this let alone one at all. I have priced it to sell as I need the space and don’t have time to enjoy so rather than be a garage ornament needs to go to someone who can use it
There is a lot of old paperwork and receipts from over the years, lots of new spares for the car, some Genuine GM rubber front floor mats and 2 keys
