On a sad note I'm having to part ways with what has been my pride and joy for the last 6 years.
She's been off the road a while now, and aside from the usual health checks and pre-MOT prep, has not really being driven.
I am the first and only UK owner (Aside from technically the importer).
First and most importantly, unlike * some* examples you may find, this will pass a full class 4 MOT incl. dreaded emissions testing.
A large part of the recent work has been getting this up to MOT standards, may examples will require a "Friendly" MOT tester for emissions, fog light, etc. I can gladly say there are none of these issues here and she has a fresh MOT.
What we have is a brilliant example, JZS171 1JZ-GTE Athlete V.

Mechanically brilliant. The only bad points, which is why this is priced so low are:
Cosmetic:
Minor age-related scratches.
Minor paintwork imperfections.
A small cigarette burn in the drivers seat (From Japan).
Front wheels would like a refurb, minor kerbing.
Headlights are slightly foggy.
Mechanical:
Rear pads probably could do with changing in 10k or so.
Occasional dash heater servo "Gurgle" (Extremely mild and very common in Crown/ Chaser/ JZx models)
Why I'm selling:
I don't driver her enough and I'm just looking for the next project, which is very, very silly, but as many of you know, car brain has a new itch.
Priced to sell at £12, 000 which given the spec, is an absolutely astonishing low price for the specification and work carried out.
Work and modifications has been carried out by extremely reputable tuning and fabrication companies such as: Fensport, APW Engineering and DKW, to the highest possible standards.
This car has been dyno'd, mapped and adjusted multiple times, the last time in January of 2024 at 410hp.
It made 510hp on 650 FIC injectors before I stopped the test due to gearbox worries.
This is running an extremely safe and reliable map for the power level. Although I recommend filling with 98RON+ fuel, and while I wouldn't recommend it, the knock detection and map adjustment is set wide enough that you can run as low as 95 RON safely if no access to 98+ is possible.
(I will probably have a rant at some point about "tuners" that only map for ideal fuel at some point, so apologies in advance).
I have a decent amount of experience with 1J's and ECU mapping. To further my credentials, I have been an automotive design engineer for the past 8 years, hold a degree in mechanical engineering and have designed and developed chassis components for the likes of JLR, Aston Martin, Ford, and Nissan.
Can show underbody, running, ECU software, receipts, etc.
Due to some previous bad experience with test drivers, and given the power of this car, all test drives will be accompanied by myself, and will require proof of full insurance coverage (Or sign a temporary waver) and driving licence. If these can't be provided, I'm more than happy to drive you as a passenger.
