I have decided to sell my project car that i brought 4 months ago to restore to the road . The car had been unloved for a while and sat and not used being a MG fanatic and seeing it looking sorry for itself i couldn't resist it and brought it home to love and cherish again. My overall goal was to restore it to ita former glory,, but work and other projects have taken over so its time for someone else to love it . Mechanically it has all been sorted. Listed below is what has been completed.
Full service including cambelt and waterpump
Brakes all bled, new front discs and pads
Clutch system all bled and slave cylinder fully refurbished with MGOC kit
New rear wheel bearing
Replaced engine mounts and bolts due to being seized
New alternator
New battery
Also this was previously listed for sale but on road testing started showing signs of overheating. So it has now been stripped., new head gasket fitted and system properly bled
Underneath is solid with no chassis issues, just surface rust, although wheel arches are little tatty. Body work is solid but Paint has got some marks and blistering on it but shines up well as you can see. The seats inside were knackered so ive managed to find some nice red leather ones that complement it well and interior looks tidy no.
It is MOTd till july but i will stick a new one on it . if required Ive also put a 2nd hand hood on it so no leaks and window is good with no cracks . Its not a perfect car by any means but will be a great summer car for some fun for not a lot of money. Mileage is 93000. Happy to come look and test drive. The personalised plate is staying on the vehicle and has been valued at 600 so grab a bargain. Also comes with a tonneau cover
It really does drive well and will make a great cheap summer toy.
