Triumph TR4 for total restoration. Two crooks from East Anglia were supposed to restore it but thought it easier to take the money and send fake pictures of the car. They were recommended by a mate (who they later ripped off as well ) so I was not as wary, lesson learned i guess.
The car is a 1965 UK registered with 5 wire wheels and overdrive gearbox. The body has surface rust but no rot, cabin floor and boot floor are also rot free. All external panels are there, these are thick, not like modern reproductions so guessing they may be original, again surface rust but no rot.
Car comes with an unleaded head (have the invoice) stainless sports exhaust and manifold, brake servo and the brakes and suspension have had some work but a few years ago. Chassis has also had some work and is in good condition,.
All the expensive bits like dials, Motolita leather steering etc are with the car and all the parts to rebuild the engine are there as far as i can see. Has a wooden dash that would need a full restore
Has two seats in very good condition and hood and frame but the rest of the interior trim panels were destroyed, .
It is too good to break, would suit someone with lots of patience and time who has the skills to rebuild the car. TR4 with all the bits to restore, solid car with no rot, good engine when last run, overdrive box, 5 wire wheels and most parts to restore.
