Exceptional Example of what is arguably the best generation of the Wrangler ever produced, the TJ, in its final year of Production, 2006.
Imported from Japan in December 2022, and purchased by me from the importers in March 2023.
Due to Japan not salting their roads in winter, the vehicle is completely rust free both bodily, and on the chassis and components, and has the benefit of the Japanese spec including air-con, cruise control, leather steering wheel, and automatic overdrive on the gearbox.
The suspension lift utilises a high quality Australian 'Old Man Emu' two and a half inch kit with all the correct transmission packers, and Panhard Rod extension.
5 new Dotz Dakar 16 inch rims with conversion spacers were fitted, and shod with 285 - 75 R16 35 inch tyres, together with wider wheel arches.
The 4 litre straight six engine and automatic box are faultless and smooth. This is a remarkable example of this classic Jeep requiring no remedial works
