Description
Hi Folks, the time has come to sell my 216 Vitesse.
Work done:
Cambelt and water pump
Yearly oil change
Fully wax treated on the underside and cavities
Alloy wheels fully refurbished and new Pirelli tyres fitted (including spare)
Paintless dent removal done on the sides
Machine polished and ceramic coated.
New old stock front mud flaps fitted.
The car has done 67,*** kms from new and was registered on 28/ 12/ 1989 in Portugal (hence LHD) car comes with original service book and owners manual. The main positive of the car being an import means it’s completely rust free and from what I can tell has never been welded. The car was imported to the UK in April 2022 by the previous owner. MOT until April 2026, I have quite a few spares plus brochures to go with the car. The car has had 5 owners in total from what I have found, the first owner being a pilot who owned it until 2012 where the car had been off the road on a garage for a number of years and the second owner recommissioned it and put it back on the road (I have a file on my computer of photos of works carried out) and in around 2018 was sold to another Rover enthusiast in Portugal who then sold it to the gentleman I bought it off who imported the car to the UK in 2022.
The car is pretty close to immaculate and I think you’d struggle to find a better condition SD3 generation Rover 200 let alone a Vitesse. Some people may be put off by the LHD lay out but I’ve found it very easy to adapt to and the trade of is a very solid car with no corrosion.
Being the Vitesse it also has chassis modifications from the factory including a rear anti roll bar which really gives the car confident sporty handling over the standard models. The car always gets a lot of attention at shows and you’ll never see another! The car was also shown on the Rover 200/ 400 owners club stand at the NEC classic car show in 2023.
