4 door 8V Mk2 in Tornado Red. This car has a full stamped service history and a comprehensive file detailing work and expenditure including cam belt. springs, brakes overhauled and refurbished. It has been part of our collection for the last 3 years but we've decided to find it a new owner as we're simply not using it. This is a very original vehicle that hasn't been repainted. The previous owner made the choice to touch up a couple of stone chips on the bonnet to preserve the originality, which in our view was the right call.
It has that distinctive VW smell inside, the cloth interior is unmarked.
The engine runs smoothly, we had a new clutch fitted in October 2023. We also had the front subframe and wishbones replaced as they were untidy compared to the rest of the car. The engine bay has been professionally detailed so it gleams as the photos demonstrate.
We fitted a retro Blaupunkt Valencia DAB and Bluetooth head unit which sounds great on the original spec 6 speaker system. BBS Dealer wheels with Uniroyal rainsport 3's all round.
The Mot history will detail the mileage over the years which has been minimal in our ownership. The car is stored in a climatic bubble to preserve its condition.
