Mechanically excellent example of this vehicle, starts on the button and is a super drive with performance cyclinder head much improving drivability. This is an honest and and essentially original version. It was well looked after by the previous owner and in the 4 years I have owned it the following work has been completed:
- new performance cylinder head from Turner engineering
- professionally refurb of the solex carburettor
- new fuel system including tank and pump
- new clutch
- new exhaust system
- new ignition system
- new hoses and radiator
- new headlights side lights etc
- very recent service with new oil, filter, spark plugs etc
The car starts on the button and drives great. The engine runs completely cleanly, no signs of blue or black smoke even from cold.
The car is painted in matt green giving it a rugged look. The car is essentially rust free. Drive it now, ‘as is’ and enjoy all the positive attention it gets, or would be a fantastic base if someone wanted to take it to the next level.
It is garaged and comes with hard top, full rear door and new side windows. Reluctant sale, only selling as I need my garage space for a new project.
