CRYSLER AVENGER GLS 1600 Classic Road Rally Car Decided to sell due to bereavement. Previous owner turned the car into classic road rally car. Prior to his ownership at some point it was owned by SHELL OILS, as a development test bed. Up off the floor on axle stands with pipes and wires going to rear axle gearbox and lots on the engine.. There has been lots done, new radiator re cored heater matrix, rally prep, fuel line inside, sump and fuel tank gaurds, good rich braided brake hoses, sparco bucket seats, sparco full harness seat belts, Nav footrest, Brantz Trip and Stop Clock, fused and relayed for spot lights, reverse light, Competition Exhaust Manifold and System, 1 3/ 4 SU Carb , KN FILTER, Lowered rear springs. Reinforced / skidded rear trailing arms, Adjustable rose jointed Track control arms, Just fitted new rear brake cylinders and rear shoes, New EBC yellow stuff pads, Oil and filter just done.. Structurely the car is excellent condition, as can be seen on the pictures there are some signs of corrosion the worst being on o/ s door bottoms, some other small bits but nothing major, the car has had aerosol touch ups by the looks of it unfortunately the colour match isn't great. The car has done a few historic road rallies years ago, not sure if it had different suspension on at the time but it is very very soft at the present time. I think it could do with a tune and set up, and suspension, tracking sorted. Will make a really good car as very strong car and something a bit different to a escort... Lots of competition parts also available, Big valve head, Twin Webbers on manifold, Twin strombergs on manifold, other carbs on manifold, coil over front bare suspension legs, lots of suspension parts, Capri fuel tank suitable for boot mounting, set of RS style alloys, plus more steel wheels.
