This attractive little car has only cover 22, 300 miles and has had 2 owners from new.
1275cc. Finished in Zircon blue with Bounty blue cloth interior, this rare manual gearbox Metro Vanden Plas has formed part of the UK’s largest private collection of BL cars for several years.
2 registered keepers, the first lady owner until 2014.
Bodywork is in very good condition, no rust issues and presents Very well.
Mechanically the car runs beautifully and drives really well. Appears to have refurbished / replacement hydragas units.
Interior is in lovely condition, with no damage or wear. Still retains its original radio plus the often missing sunroof storage bag.
The car comes with its handbook wallet complete with handbook & service book etc. a scarce Salesman’s only brochure and a selection of other paperwork including service records and present & previous logbooks.
We believe the first Lady owner had an insurance claim on the car around 1998, there’s no record on the logbook.
Metro’s are now scarce and such nice examples of this luxury model are increasingly hard to find.

We are mainly interested in British sports and saloon cars from the 1960s and 1970s, but can appreciate a good car from any era and often have a diverse range of stock.
Over the years we have enjoyed restoring cars which has given us a solid background and embedded us in a network of enthusiasts. In the last few years our direction has changed slightly towards hunting out classics, from barn finds to turn key beauties.
