This is a very sad and reluctant sale of my Suzuki GS1000S Factory replica. I searched for many years to find one and happened across this one a few months ago, since then, my kidney disease has peaked and I am now on dialysis and have neither the strength or time to pursue this reality any further. It frustrates me every time I go into the garage.
This machine is totally factory original and never restored and my intention was to continue cleaning, add new bits like chain, sprockets maybe refurb calliper's and discs but that's it, as its only original once. It does have some eighties period additions, well two , Guiluari seat(Excellent) and a Marshall four into one pipe. (Found that Harris pipes are still making them in Black chrome). Everything else including Marrozocchi shocks is it left the factory, I bought the bike from an elderly gent and it had been DRY stored in his garage for many year, will need brakes overhauling and carbs attending to, but in general not a lot of work to get back on the road, new continental tyres were fitted four years ago A few weekends and a new battery (Completely dead) would see this sorted. Mileage is 31623 and it is MOT & Tax exempt. there is a running example on another well known platform currently advertised at £9k and one exactly the same has sold for £13. 5K on a Classic website so have priced this sensibly will consider very close offers (Very few of these around in original unrestored condition as clean as this one. Would prefer interested parties to come and view. There is a mark on the fairing as shown , but again was not going to repair this. Thankyou for looking. I don't think I'll ever find another like this again, but someone who has the energy and enthusiasm to get this lovely old machine back on the road and enjoy it. I am unable to even get it out the garage these days sadly. I also have a brand new screen and some service items that will come with the bike)
